As Service Leaders we were privileged to attend the 2026 Kindness Convention on Thursday August 13<\/strong> at Pymble Ladies College. We had the opportunity \u00a0to hear from the amazing author Alice Peel, who has written \u201cHow to be a Good Enough Kid\u201d. We learnt many tips and tricks on how to be kind to ourselves, others and the environment, such as certain breathing techniques to calm ourselves down and the effects of kindness on ourselves and others.<\/p>\n

After a quick break everyone had the assignment of creating a solution to an existing problem in the world. Our problem was to save all pollinators, so we all worked together to find a solution which was growing our own native Australian stingless bee garden using Native Australian flowers to attract the bees so they can help pollinate our local environment.<\/p>\n

At the end we saw every schools\u2019 exhibits and were fascinated by the effort put into every creation and we were very pleased to see the nice comments on our poster.<\/p>\n

We are looking forward to putting our plan into action to be kind to our environment and attract native bees.<\/p>\n
