{"id":46956,"date":"2026-08-28T13:00:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-28T03:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=46956"},"modified":"2026-08-28T13:00:02","modified_gmt":"2026-08-28T03:00:02","slug":"sport-announcements-9","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/article\/sport-announcements-9\/","title":{"rendered":"Sport Announcements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>MLC School Senior School House Athletics Carnival &#8211; Transport<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Get ready for another fantastic day of House Spirit!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our MLC School Senior School House Athletics Carnival is coming up on <strong>Tuesday\u00a08 September<\/strong> at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre and Athletic Centre (SOPAC), and we are excited to finish our school sporting carnivals for the year with another great day of competition, participation and House spirit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travel Arrangements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 6 to Year 8<\/strong> \u2013 Students will travel by bus to and from SOPAC.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/ivxcyXbrPw?origin=lprLink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Permission to travel Athletics House Carnival Transportation Year 6 to Year 8<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Year 9 to Year 12 &#8211; <\/strong>Students have the option of making their own way to and from the carnival.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/r\/vD9ErA6pkZ?origin=lprLink\"><strong>Permission to travel Athletics House Carnival Transportation Year 9 to Year 12<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To assist us with transport planning and organisation, Parents and carers are asked to complete the form below to indicate their travel arrangements by <strong>Wednesday<\/strong> <strong>2<\/strong> <strong>September.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please ensure the form is completed by the requested date so we can finalise transport arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>We look forward to seeing everyone at SOPAC and celebrating another great day of MLC School House Spirit!<\/p>\n<p>Term 4 registrations have now closed for IGSA and IPSHA competitive sports. If you have missed out, please reach out to the sports department. We might have some vacancies available.
