\"\"Science Week<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, the Junior School celebrated Science Week with the \u2018Seeds of Science\u2019<\/em> House Challenge during the Kindergarten to Year 5 assembly. The girls loved creating their own \u2018helicopter seeds\u2019 and taking part in an inter-House flying competition. Our thanks go to our dedicated STEM teachers, Bede Schofield<\/strong> and Marie Cassar,<\/strong> for creating such an engaging learning experience.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Science Week was also a wonderful opportunity to nurture the girls\u2019 curiosity, creativity and confidence in science. Engaging girls in STEM \u2013 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics \u2013 from an early age helps build problem-solving skills and opens doors to future study and career opportunities. We are proud to see our students embracing these challenges with enthusiasm and look forward to cheering on our RoboCup teams next week.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Book Week<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Book Week is next week! We will celebrate Book Week alongside Booralee\u2019s Great Book Swap on the Junior School Campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

All Junior School students, from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6, will participate in our annual Book Parade. This year\u2019s theme is \u2018Symphony of Stories\u2019.<\/em> Details of all the exciting Book Week events can be found in Library News.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our Book Parade will be held on Friday 28 August<\/b>, commencing at 9.30 am on the Sports Field.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
