Some groups made bracelets, while others organised a treasure hunt, created quizzes with baby photos and fun facts, and planned many other thoughtful activities. It was lovely to see how much the Year 7 girls value and enjoy their time with their Big Sisters.<\/p>\n<p>We also held the final Year 6\u2013Year 9 Assembly for this year with our current captains. This marks the end of an important leadership cycle, with the new captains to be announced next term. While it may feel early for Year 7 students to be thinking about leadership, I encourage the girls to notice opportunities, build their skills and confidence, and keep working towards their goals and dreams, whatever they may be.<\/p>\n<p>A reminder that next week is both Book Week and STEM Week, so there will be a number of special initiatives taking place at school. Everyone is welcome to vote for their favourite diorama!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Diorama Rules (for participants)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a\u00a03D diorama\u00a0(shoe box size) that showcases the life and work of a famous scientist. Your diorama should help viewers understand who the scientist was, what they discovered, and why their work is important today.
