Our parent\u2013teacher learning conversations concluded this week with mathematics and specialist teachers. I trust that the opportunity to meet with your daughter\u2019s teachers was valuable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our Year 6 girls have been connecting with senior members of our community as part of their service learning. This week, I had the pleasure of visiting St Mary\u2019s Villa in Concord with some of our Year 6 students. It was a delight to see firsthand the benefits for both the girls and the residents. Thank you to Pastor Luisa Bland<\/strong> for coordinating this initiative.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Year 4 Camp<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This week, Year 4 ventured to Tallong in the Southern Highlands for their outdoor adventure camp. The girls enjoyed a wonderful bush experience, taking part in bushwalks, high ropes, mountain-bike riding and many other fun activities. During my visit, we were greeted by a friendly local\u2014a wombat that ventured out early to say hello!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Chelsea F.C. Football<\/b> Training Session<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

MLC School students had the very special opportunity on Tuesday to watch Chelsea F.C. train<\/a> at Allianz Stadium. Australian football star Ellie Carpenter took the time to give each MLC School girl an autograph. The following evening, the girls watched Chelsea play the A-League All Stars Women\u2019s team. What a fantastic experience, and Chelsea won! Thank you to our Director of Sport, Scott Carpenter,<\/strong> for providing this special opportunity.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Book Week<\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As you have been reading in our Library News<\/a>, this year\u2019s Book Week theme is \u2018Symphony of Stories\u2019. Our much-loved Junior School Book Parade will be held on Friday 28 August 2028<\/strong>. This year, the Junior School is combining Booralee\u2019s Book Swap Service initiative with Book Week. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Father\u2019s Day Raffle\u00a0– Prizes Needed<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This year’s P&F Father’s Day raffle will be drawn on Thursday 3 September 2026<\/b>. To make the raffle a success, donations are needed! Donations may include, but are not limited to, hampers, store\/hotel\/restaurant vouchers, books, fitness products, and self-care products. No perishable or food items please. Alternatively, you may donate money HERE<\/b><\/a>, which the P&F will use to purchase prizes.<\/p>\n

If you are able to contribute, please drop your donation into the Junior School Reception by Friday 28 August 2026,<\/strong> clearly labelled with your name so we know who to thank. All donations gratefully received!<\/div>\n
