\"\"<\/a>A very big\u00a0congratulations to all of Year 12 in the cast and crew of the Senior Production of Romeo and Juliet<\/em>!\u00a0The show was absolutely thrilling in its retelling of this\u00a0classic\u00a0tale of conflict and romance.\u00a0It was wonderful to be amongst an audience of peers,\u00a0teachers,\u00a0and parents to watch you all\u00a0put on a fantastic piece of theatre!\u00a0Well done to\u00a0Zoe Andrews<\/strong> (Juliet), Seraphine McNamara<\/strong> (Mercutio), Isabe<\/strong>l Garner<\/strong> (Prince), Emma Sullivan<\/strong> (Petra), Erin Barrett<\/strong> (Servingman and Sampson), Isabella Ho<\/strong> (Chorus), Kate McKeon<\/strong> (Chorus), Lilah Randall<\/strong> (Stage Manager and Lighting Design) and Phoebe Zein<\/strong> (Sound). Thank you as well to our Year 12 VET Entertainment students who supported with front of house duties over the five nights of performances!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Congratulations go out to Ava\u00a0Roins, Genevieve Beattie, Carina Savoca, Sienna Christodoulou, Crystal Huang, Abby Coxsedge<\/strong> and Siena Jury<\/strong>\u00a0for their 3-1 win in the Semi Final of the CIS Football competition\u00a0on Wednesday…\u00a0the Grand Final\u00a0now awaits!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Tuesday, Year 12 attended the final presentation for the term as a part of the Futures and Pathways guest speaker program. Old Girl Shreeya Haridas<\/strong> (2017) shared insights into climate change and marine biotechnology. Old Girls Anna<\/strong> and Julia Gough<\/strong> (2022) concluded the series, sharing their respective journeys into media, law, design and communications. Thank you to Nicole Massara<\/strong>\u00a0(Futures and Pathways Advisor), Jo<\/strong>\u00a0Cilia<\/strong>\u00a0(Head of Futures and Pathways)\u00a0and Andrew Kozyra<\/strong> (Acting Head of Futures and Pathways) on developing this rich and varied program for the Year 12 cohort.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A reminder\u00a0regarding\u00a0the MLC School Winter uniform,\u00a0all students must arrive at school and leave school each day with their blazer as the external garment. A Year 12 student should not be wearing their Jersey beneath their blazer on their way into or exiting school. This includes whether the student is driving in a private car, catching public\u00a0transport\u00a0or walking to school.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

During the upcoming break, Year 12 students are warmly encouraged to make use of the Study Camp which will run from 9am \u2013 4pm each day (Monday 29 June \u2013 Friday 3 July). This will be a valuable opportunity for students to work independently or with peers, attend revision workshops, complete timed practice papers, and seek support from staff and mentors. More information regarding workshops made available to students this week will be with students soon.<\/p>\n

Year 12 is a milestone moment in your daughter\u2019s life \u2013 a time to reflect on all she has achieved and the mark she has made at MLC School.<\/p>\n

A gift of a paver in your daughter\u2019s name is a permanent tribute to her and your family\u2019s involvement with MLC School. It can include a couple of brief lines about her activities or interests. Order a paver by Friday 17 July 2026 to ensure that your daughter will be able to see her name in the entry way of the school grounds on her last day of school.<\/p>\n
