Students will eat lunch prior to the event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layout one-col fixed-width stack\">\n<div class=\"layout__inner\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Pre Kindergarten<\/strong><br \/>\nPre-Kindergarten students are welcome to attend, if accompanied by a parent.<\/p>\n<p>Please send an email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jsreception@mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jsreception@mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au<\/a>\u00a0if you would like your daughter to participate by 9am\u00a0<strong>Wednesday 24 June 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5 Day Program:<\/strong>\u00a0You will need to sign your daughter out at Reception at 12.50pm and accompany her to Burwood Park.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 Day Program:<\/strong>\u00a0Proceed with your daughter directly to Burwood Park at 12.50pm.<\/p>\n<p>An announcement will be made when Pre-Kindergarten students will participate.<\/p>\n<p>Pre-Kindergarten students who do not attend will remain at school and continue with their normal program until the end of the school day.<\/p>\n<p>Usual dismissal arrangements will take place at 2.40pm.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"layout one-col fixed-width stack\">\n<div class=\"layout__inner\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Parent Attendance<\/strong><br \/>\nParents, carers and others are most welcome to attend. There will be a designated area for parents to watch the Colour Run.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Registration<\/strong><br \/>\nIt\u2019s not too late, your daughter can create an online profile at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mlcschool.createsend1.com\/t\/t-i-whkgo-l-y\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">myprofilepage.com.au<\/a>\u00a0and share the unique link for sponsorship.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to Wear<\/strong><br \/>\nKindergarten to Year 6 (and Pre-K if participating) students may come to school wearing:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A white t-shirt<\/li>\n<li>Pants or shorts that can be coloured<\/li>\n<li>Old sneakers<\/li>\n<li>Casual hat (these items will get some colour on them)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pre-order headbands and sunglasses\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mlcschool.createsend1.com\/t\/t-i-whkgo-l-j\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Food<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We ask that Pre-Kindergarten to Year 5 parents do not purchase food for their daughter or any other students from the stalls on the day.<\/li>\n<li>The designated food stalls on the day are for\u00a0<strong>Year 6 to Year 12 students only<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pre-purchase treat bags\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mlcschool.createsend1.com\/t\/t-i-whkgo-l-t\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Dismissal<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents will return to school at the conclusion of the Colour Run for dismissal and normal after-school activities or pick-up arrangements.\u00a0<strong>Students cannot be dismissed from Burwood Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Transport<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents catching School buses must change into PE uniform before boarding the bus.<\/p>\n<p>We recommend students catching public transport change back into PE uniform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Car Pick Up<\/strong><br \/>\nYou might consider providing your daughter with a towel to sit on if your vehicle has cloth seats.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Co-curricular<\/strong><br \/>\nIf your daughter has a co-curricular activity on Friday afternoon, please pack the following items for her to bring in her bag:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gymnastics \u2013 co-curricular uniform<\/li>\n<li>Dance \u2013 co-curricular uniform<\/li>\n<li>Speech and Drama \u2013 a clean top<\/li>\n<li>Taiko \u2013 a clean top<\/li>\n<li>Physio Play may remain in their clothes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If your daughter needs to change, please pack a plastic bag for her to put her coloured top into.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Washing clothes<\/strong><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s nothing a tumble through the washing machine won&#8217;t take care of! Coloured powder washes out of most clothing but you may want to leave your favourite running clothes or evening dress at home. Dust off or blow off as much powder as possible before washing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Coloured Powder<\/strong><br \/>\nThe coloured powder is made of high-quality corn starch and is dyed with food colours. It\u2019s non-toxic, biodegradable, skin-safe and environmentally friendly. It\u2019s also gluten-free and coeliac-safe. A material safety data sheet that contains a toxicological risk assessment and ingredient listings can be obtained from us upon request.
