Last Thursday and Friday, MLC School students competed in the Inquisitive Minds Talented Maths Workshops, going head-to-head with students from Meriden School, The Scots College, Burwood Girls High School, Strathfield Girls High School, and Rosebank College in a day filled with challenging puzzles and spirited competition.<\/div>\n

We are absolutely thrilled to share that MLC School has retained the champion trophies for both Year 8 and Year 10! This is a remarkable achievement that reflects the talent, hard work, and mathematical brilliance of our students.<\/div>\n

Our Year 8 students put on an outstanding display across both events. In the School v School challenge, Ashwini Kanesalingam<\/strong> and Jacqui Zhang<\/strong> claimed first place, while Elsa Liu<\/strong> and Helen Liu<\/strong> performed strongly to finish fifth. The celebrations continued in the Mixed Pairs event, where Charlotte Hui<\/strong> partnered with a student from Meriden to take out first place.<\/div>\n

On Friday the Year 10 cohort was equally impressive. Yolanda Deng<\/strong> and Veronica Pan<\/strong> topped the School v School standings with a first-place finish, while Amy Doan<\/strong> and Leanne Pham<\/strong> rounded out a solid team effort in fourth place.<\/div>\n

In the Mixed Pairs, Chloe Lu<\/strong> (Year 10) was part of the winning team, Leanne Pham<\/strong> (Year 10) and her partner finished second, and Yolanda Deng<\/strong> (Year 10) completed MLC School’s domination of the podium.<\/div>\n
