The girls supported each other and played more games in the House soccer competition, whenever we could find a break in the rain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Subject Selection<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week, Year 10 students continued to engage thoughtfully in the subject selection process as they considered their pathways for senior study. The presentation by <strong>Elizabeth Gilberthorpe,<\/strong> Director of Studies \u2013 Year 7 to Year 10, and <strong>David Posker\u2013Hill,<\/strong>\u00a0Director of Studies \u2013 Year 11 to Year 12, from Curriculum explored the differences between the IB Diploma and HSC courses, advising Year 10 to give careful consideration to their interests, strengths and future goals. We encourage families to continue these conversations at home so that students feel well supported as they make informed decisions about their next stage of learning.<\/p>\n<p>Key dates in the process are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 10 June 2026,<\/strong> 4pm\u20137.30pm \u2013 Parent\/Teacher Evening and Subject Information Presentation<\/li>\n<li><strong>Friday 12 June 2026,<\/strong> in 3ab \u2013 Subject Expo for students only<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 June 2026,<\/strong> from 8am\u20135pm (20 minute interviews) \u2013 Subject Selection Interviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Peer Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week, our Year 10 Peer Support leaders spent Luminary time with their Little Sisters in Year 7, continuing to build positive relationships and a strong sense of connection within their House group. Year 7 are going on camp next week, so Year 10 shared their memories and advice about how to be resilient and make the best of their time away. Peer support is a very special time for Year 10, and the program continues in Week 8 <strong>(starting Tuesday 9 June 2026).<\/strong> It has been pleasing to see the care and maturity shown by our Year 10 students as they take on their leadership roles with enthusiasm and responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>For information about your daughter\u2019s academic progress and learning, please contact their subject teacher.
