\"\"This week Year 8 were excited to have Jack Rudd,<\/strong> Adventure and Immersions Coordinator, come to speak to them about the upcoming Year 8 Immersion experience. The information, including permission forms, packing lists, medical, dietary and code of conduct forms have all been sent out via the MLC School app for parents to sign and approve. The students will spend two nights in Mudgee and have two days of Indigenous immersion experiences here in Sydney. Year 8 are starting to get very excited and we are already looking forward to Term 3 Week 3!<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In Luminary time Year 8 also were able to prepare for\u00a0a number of\u00a0assessments and\u00a0plan\u00a0for Big Sister Little Sister next week.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Good luck to the Year 8 students\u00a0who are performing in the St Pat\u2019s musical \u2013 School of Rock<\/em> \u2013 over the coming days and congratulations to the Year 8 soccer stars from Wade and Prescott who are competing in the House soccer final on Friday (going ahead in this weather at the time of writing!)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Reminder for Week 7 (Monday 1 June 2026)<\/strong>: Year 8 are students are to attend the Senior Drama Production of Romeo and Juliet<\/em> next Wednesday as part of their Drama assessment. I went this week with Year 7 and it was fantastic, I can\u2019t wait for Year 8 to see it!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
