The da Vinci Decathlon is an academically rigorous, interdisciplinary competition, which challenges high\u2011potential learners through complex problem-solving across a wide range of subject areas.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday 12 May, our Year 7 \u2013 Year 8 team proudly represented the School and competed against more than 150 teams:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Year 7 team achieved an exceptional <strong>1st place in the state in Creative Producers<\/strong> \u2013 a remarkable accomplishment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In recognition of their success, the team was invited to perform their winning dramatic piece in front of the full audience, showcasing impressive creativity, confidence and teamwork.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday 13 May, MLC School&#8217;s Year 9 \u2013 Year 11 students also achieved excellent results.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Year 10 team placed <strong>2nd in the state in Art and Poetry<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Year 9 team secured <strong>2nd place in the state in Cartography<\/strong> (Geography)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Thursday 14 May, Year 6 students achieved a phenomenal<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1st in State in Code Breaking!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These results highlight the depth of talent, collaboration and intellectual curiosity across our student teams.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to all students involved on their dedication, teamwork and outstanding performance across both days.
