Zoe and her teammates were undefeated as they progressed through the tournament and advanced to the gold medal match on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>After a thrilling final, the team secured the Silver Medal, an outstanding achievement. She has additionally qualified for the School National Swimming Championships, to be held in Melbourne later this year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2026 Australian Open and Age Swimming Championships (Gold Coast)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the team break, five MLC School students completed the Australian Age Swimming Championships in Gold Coast, and <strong>Madison Chantler<\/strong> also competed at the Australian Swimming Championships at the same venue. Congratulations to each swimmer who competed at the Open and Age National levels.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Open National Swimming Championships<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Madison Chantler<\/strong> (Year 11) completed in 50m Fly, 100m Fly and 50m Bk<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Age National Swimming Championships<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Madison Chantler<\/strong> (Year 11) completed in Girls 16 years 50m Fly, 100m Fly, 50m Bk , 100m BK<\/li>\n<li><strong>Isabel Floro<\/strong> (Year 10) Completed in Girls 15 years 100m FS<\/li>\n<li><strong>Olivia Burke<\/strong> (Year 9) completed in Girls 14 years 50m FS<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ashley Clapham<\/strong> (Year 8) completed in Girls 13 years 50m FLY<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hailey Leung<\/strong> (Year 12) completed in Girls 16 years 50m BK<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Diving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Emma Yan<\/strong> (Year 4) and <strong>Grace Luo<\/strong> (Year 4) proudly represented CIS NSW and MLC School at the recent PSSA Championships, one of the strongest school pathway competitions of the year in diving. The two Year 4 MLC School students delivered outstanding performances in the Girls 9 Years 1m Springboard event, with Emma earning a podium finish in third place and Grace achieving an impressive fifth overall. Girls 1m Springboard\u00a0 5<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>National Diving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the recent term break, the Diving Age National Championships were held in South Australia, with MLC School proudly represented by Dive Captain <strong>Ada Savage<\/strong> (Year 10) and <strong>Eloise Dastyari<\/strong> (Year 7).<\/p>\n<p>Competing against strong national fields, both students demonstrated determination and resilience throughout the competition. Ada delivered an impressive performance in the 14\/15 Years 3m Springboard event, placing 5th out of 33 divers. Eloise also competed admirably, finishing 20th in the 12\/13 Years 3m Springboard event from a field of 34 competitors.<\/p>\n<p>A standout moment of the championships came in the 14\/15 Years Platform event, where Ada secured an outstanding 2nd place finish. This achievement was a highlight of the competition, drawing significant excitement from the grandstands.<\/p>\n<p>These results reflect the dedication and commitment both athletes bring to their sport, as well as the valuable guidance and support of their coach, Shixin Li.
