\"\"Week 2 was another busy week for our Year 7 students. The week started with a glorious day, and a beautiful ANZAC Day Service held on the Sports Field. During the ceremony, the names of Old Girls who have died in any war were read aloud alongside those of Old Girls who are currently enlisted. Each student stood up to represent every Old Girl called. It was a truly moving moment for the entire school.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A reminder that every service or event held in the Sports Field, or any other open space in the School, requires students to wear a school hat or school cap. This is a new school rule, and I am so proud of my Year 7 cohort \u2013 practically every single Year 7 student had a hat on. This shows how organised the girls are. Well done, Year 7!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This week, we also had our first camp briefing in the Year Meeting on Thursday. This was led by Jack Rudd,<\/strong> our Adventure and Immersions Coordinator. There will be more sessions held, to ensure that every student feels ready to embark on such an exciting journey.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I reminded the girls that a positive attitude is a must when it comes to changing routines or trying new adventures. A positive mindset allows us to be open-minded, accept change, and deal with difficulties to the best of our abilities. And let\u2019s be honest \u2013 camp is awesome, and I am sure my lovely Year 7 students will have so much fun.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For now, still working on remembering all names of all my girls\u2026 I will get there eventually, I am sure!<\/span><\/p>\n
