\"\"One term down, two terms to go for Year 12! What an exciting milestone to celebrate after a mammoth ten week term.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This week Year 12 returned to lessons after their examination block and returned with enthusiasm for the final four days of school. With many from the cohort beginning to receive feedback on their recent assessments, students were able to kickstart the all-important reflection process, where they consider their academic engagement this term and make clear plans for the break as well as the term ahead.\u00a0<\/p>\n

During Luminary on Monday, Year 12 had the opportunity to complete some \u2018land\u2019 practice for the synchro performances and check in their Luminaries after two weeks away from school. On Tuesday Year 12 leaders supported Reverend Vinnie by assisting to lead the Year 6 to Year 12 Communion Service. It was also an opportunity to farewell Deputy Head of Senior School – Wellbeing, Andrew Taylor<\/strong> and thank him for all his experience and time in creating and sustaining a range of wellbeing initiatives in the Senior School. On Wednesday, Eri Takeshita<\/strong> (Environment Captain) took over our Year Meeting to help recognise Earth Hour at MLC School. Eri asked all of Year 12 to make an environmental pledge about one small commitment they can each make to help the environment. To round out the week, Year 12 spent time celebrating Easter with their Little Sisters \u2013 a fun, colourful and yummy experience for all!<\/p>\n

I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the Year 12 Luminaries for all their support of Year 12 (and me) this term. Year 12 are incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team of people supporting them through this final year of school!\u00a0<\/p>\n

I trust all of Year 12 and their families will have a wonderful Easter break and can all take the time to have some down time together. See you all back for Day 1 of Term 2 on Tuesday 21 April<\/strong>, in winter uniform!
