I also learned that one person&#8217;s idea is not as good as two peoples&#8217; ideas. I learned about teamwork and helping people without being annoying. Leadership day was a fun and educational experience.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Gem McGuire<\/strong> (Year 5)<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;\u200bI learnt that Leadership is guiding others and working as a team with others. A quote reads, &#8220;A sign of a good leader is not how many followers you have, but how many leaders you make.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This shows that a good leader cares for others, rather than showing off and acting like they have all the power.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u2013 <strong>Evelyn Tsang<\/strong> (Year 5)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Just because you have a badge, that doesn&#8217;t mean you&#8217;re a leader<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Cooperate with your peers<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Be honest and truthful<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Work as a team<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Everyone has a chance so don&#8217;t exculde anyone<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Every role matters<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Different people mean different speaking levels<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Leaders aren&#8217;t always at the front<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Make mistakes as a team<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Tarlay Edwards<\/strong> (Year 5)<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Leadership Day was so much fun. Not only did we play games, we learnt a lot about being a good leader. I learnt that leadership isn\u2019t just about you \u2013 it\u2019s about the team. When I was younger, I thought it was about telling people what to do. I also learnt that guiding is better than telling people what to do when they need help. We can always ask for help from others in the process. I also learnt that a good leader doesn\u2019t have to be perfect or the smartest. A good leader is someone who has a good influence, is helpful, kind, and respectful, and works as part of a team with their portfolio. That day, Cameron taught all of us that just because you\u2019re not good at public speaking doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re not an amazing leader, and that everyone has different strengths. Just because you\u2019re not a captain doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re not a great leader.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Alicia Wen<\/strong> (Year 5)<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;My reflection on leadership is that you need to include everybody and work as a team. Leadership is helping others and putting them before you. Leadership is also cheering others up and making them feel that they are wanted. Leadership isn\u2019t about showing off, seeking glory, or thinking that you\u2019re the best.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2013 Isabella Ye<\/strong> (Year 5)<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;On Leadership Day, I learnt that leadership is helping and encouraging each other, and that there are different types of leaders. I learnt that a leader doesn\u2019t have to do speeches or be talkative \u2013 there are quiet types of leaders too. Leaders can also influence others.
