{"id":43004,"date":"2025-11-07T12:12:01","date_gmt":"2025-11-07T01:12:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=43004"},"modified":"2025-11-07T12:12:03","modified_gmt":"2025-11-07T01:12:03","slug":"introducing-the-new-absentee-form-now-integrated-with-omnia","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/article\/introducing-the-new-absentee-form-now-integrated-with-omnia\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing the New Absentee Form \u2013 Now Integrated with Omnia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are pleased to announce the launch of the updated absentee form, now fully integrated with <a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Omnia<\/em><\/a>\u00a0and the MLC School app to provide a more streamlined and user-friendly experience for families.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">This enhanced form offers several key benefits:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400\">\n<li><strong>Single sign-on:<\/strong> There is no need to manually enter parent or carer details \u2013 users are automatically identified through login.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smart student selection:<\/strong> Your students appear at the top of the form, allowing you to select one or multiple students when submitting an absence.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Flexible absence logging:<\/strong> Absences can now be logged for today, multiple days, or partial days.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unified experience:<\/strong> The same form is used across both the MLC School app and <a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Omnia<\/em><\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">To access the new form, simply click the <strong>\u2018Absentee\u2019 <\/strong>tile in the MLC School app or navigate to <strong>\u2018Absences\u2019<\/strong> within <a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Omnia<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Reminder to Keep Checking <em>Omnia<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stay in the loop \u2013 visit <a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Omnia<\/em><\/a> regularly as we rush towards the end of the school year!<\/p>\n<p>When you\u2019re having a coffee \u2013 check <a href=\"https:\/\/omnia.mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Omnia<\/em><\/a>.
