After ten outstanding years leading our rowing program, we farewell our Head of Rowing Rob Glendenning<\/strong> as he retires from his role. His dedication, leadership, and passion have shaped a culture of excellence, resilience, and camaraderie both on and off the water. From early morning trainings to regatta victories, Rob\u2019s legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of our school. As Rob embarks on a well-earned retirement, we thank him for his tireless service and the inspiration he has provided to generations of rowers. Thanks for being OARSOME.<\/p>\n

We are thrilled to welcome\u00a0Charlotte Almond<\/strong> to the MLC School Sports Team as our new Head of Rowing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Charlotte brings with her a wealth of international experience and a strong academic foundation, holding a\u00a0degree in Sports and Exercise Science\u00a0from the\u00a0University of Louisville, Kentucky, where she studied on a full athletic scholarship. As a high-performance athlete, Charlotte proudly represented\u00a0Team Great Britain\u00a0in rowing at the highest levels of competition.<\/p>\n

In addition to her athletic achievements, Charlotte has also contributed her expertise off the water \u2013 working as a Sports Nutritionist\u00a0with the\u00a0University of Louisville Football Team\u00a0and as a\u00a0Sports Performance Coach\u00a0at\u00a0The Grange High School\u00a0in Cheshire, England.<\/p>\n

Her diverse background and passion for athlete development make her an outstanding addition to our team, and we are extremely excited to have her on board.<\/p>\n

Along with Charlotte, Rafe Stanford Meisl<\/strong> who is known to the rowing community is taking on the role of Head Coach. We are excited to have both Charlotte and Rafe join the team.<\/p>\n
