Their faces were beaming as they entered the red carpet and Year 6 Centre reconnecting with friends and teachers. A special welcome to the new families that have joined our MLC School community.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Thank you for ensuring your daughter is at school on time. Girls need to be at school before <\/i>8.15am (Year 6), 8.30am (Kindergarten to Year 5) and 9am (Pre-Kindergarten).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A reminder that Park Road is NOT to be used during our drop off and pick up times. We have staff on duty in the car park to assist your daughter enter and exit school safely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

I look forward to connecting with you throughout the term. That may be at car drop off, onsite at the canteen with a coffee before 8.30am, at our upcoming Parent\/Teacher Learning Conversations or at one of our many cherished events.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

NAIDOC Week 2025<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

National NAIDOC Week is celebrated across Australia in the first week of July each year. As this event falls during the school holidays, we celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples during the first week of Term 3. This year\u2019s NAIDOC Week theme is \u2018The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy\u2019<\/em> with all students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in attendance at our School NAIDOC ceremony. Our thanks to Tim Lennon,<\/strong> Director of Indigenous Education, and all involved in this special event.<\/p>\n
