It was the final weekend of the Inner West Paramatta eisteddfod with <strong>Anisha Sivagurunathan<\/strong> (Year 11) winning first place at the Inner West Eisteddfod and the Kathryn Carter Memorial shield, and <strong>Aryana Sah<\/strong> (Year 11) achieving first place in the Open Age Character recital. This will likely be the last eisteddfod for these seasoned performers who have been competing as a duo, achieving winning places in every year they have performed since their Junior years. This was their first year performing solo and it didn\u2019t hold them back.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">A huge congratulations to <strong>Rachael (Pip) McGuire<\/strong> (Year 9) who achieved an impressive Highly commended in the Open age Shakespeare, performing with students two years older. Pip is also an experienced eisteddfod performer competing every year in multiple categories with outstanding results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Our younger performers <strong>Natasha (Gem) McGuire<\/strong> (Year 4) and <strong>Sonia Chung<\/strong> (Year 4) lit up the stage with an impressive 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Place in Duologue in Costume at the Parramatta eisteddfod over the weekend. This was their 3<sup>rd<\/sup>eisteddfod this year, along with the Inner West and Ryde eisteddfods. Sonia and Gem have been performing in eisteddfods together from a very young age.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are so proud of all our speech and drama students\u2019 excellent achievements at the Inner West, Parramatta, Ryde and Sydney eisteddfods this term.
