\"\"On 27 May,\u00a0Jessica Townsend visited Year 6, in the library, to speak about her debut novel, Nevermoor<\/em>, and the books that followed. She discussed her interests in different topics, introduced characters and shared different things about her books. She described the Nevermoor<\/em> series as a \u2018kitchen sink novel\u2019<\/em> where she can express freedom and creativity. Themes were a main focus and we were encouraged to brainstorm ideas for something we could write.<\/p>\n

Overall, it was a very exciting experience for an author to come talk to us, and I am sure that everyone agrees when I say that it was an inspiring moment in our lives. Many thanks to the Library Staff who organised the talk and I hope that we will have opportunities to experience this again!<\/p>\n
