See detailed information and frequently asked questioned direct from UNSW.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Key details<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">2025 will be the last year we offer the LAT for entry into our Bachelor of Laws programs.*\u202f\u202fWhile the LAT will be offered in 2025, the following conditions now apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only students seeking entry in 2026 should sit the LAT in 2025\u202f<\/li>\n<li>If you sit the LAT in 2025, your results will no longer be valid for two years\u202f<\/li>\n<li>Year 11 students who sat the LAT in 2024, your results remain valid this year and can be used for entry in 2026\u202f<\/li>\n<li>LAT will not be included in the entry requirements for students seeking entry in 2027 and beyond\u202f \u202f<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">The phase-out of the LAT will be completed by 2026. With admission pathways for underrepresented students now in place, the LAT\u2019s importance is changing. We also recognise that the LAT adds pressure to students just before the HSC exams, and it can disadvantage students who either weren\u2019t aware of it or didn\u2019t register in time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>How will this affect my students?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">We\u2019re taking a phased approach to the LAT closure.
