{"id":39708,"date":"2025-05-23T14:08:24","date_gmt":"2025-05-23T04:08:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=39708"},"modified":"2025-05-23T14:08:24","modified_gmt":"2025-05-23T04:08:24","slug":"da-vinci-decathlon-2","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/article\/da-vinci-decathlon-2\/","title":{"rendered":"da Vinci Decathlon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Nothing can deter our high potential students from attending the <strong>Knox da Vinci Decathlon Competition.<\/strong>\u00a0 For some, it was arriving at school at 6:45am after the magnificent Opera House concert.\u00a0 For others it was getting to Knox despite the chaos of Sydney trains.\u00a0 When it appeared, we might have been stuck on Hornsby Station, I heard girls offer to pay for an Uber to Warrawee \u2013 we can\u2019t miss the first challenge!<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">All of our teams from Year 5 through to Year 11 had a wonderful time competing with hundreds of like-minded students from across the Sydney metropolitan area.\u00a0 The event enriches, excites and challenges students to think hard, strategise and work effectively as a team. Our girls exceled and gave their very best.\u00a0 While the final results for the event will be published in the coming fortnight, we did have some placings on the day:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Year 10:<\/strong> 1st in Engineering<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Year 11<\/strong>: 1st in English, 3rd in Cartography, 3rd in Creative Producers\u00a0<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Year 6:<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a03rd\u00a0in Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Congratulations to all the girls involved
