\"\"Whitley House reflections on the Exodus Service Day<\/span><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Friday 16 May, students from Whitley House travelled to Ashfield to volunteer at the Exodus Foundation Loaves and Fishes Free Restaurant. Their reflections from the day are included below:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“This was an extremely rewarding experience because we were given the opportunity to help others in need. We worked together to package 1024 containers of powdered milk and oats. In the process we learnt about the Bill Crews foundation and the way it helps people in our community. We packaged, taped and labelled with drawings to brighten people\u2019s day. We are so grateful for this experience as we learnt so much and were able to give back to the people in need.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
