It is a privilege to be the only Junior School ensemble invited to this prestigious event to perform alongside the whole Senior School. Angeli Choir will perform in three combined pieces with the Senior School girls, as well as their own feature item. With several upcoming performances in addition to the Sydney Opera House performance, it is crucial for Angeli students to attend every rehearsal (unless unwell) on time to ensure they are well-prepared for the large amount of music required for various upcoming performances. If your child is unable to attend a rehearsal, please contact <strong>Sophie Grattan-Smith<\/strong> by <a href=\"mailto:sgrattan-smith@mlcsyd.nsw.edu.au\">email here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Sydney Opera House extra rehearsals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">\u2022<\/span> Sunday 23 March 2025<\/strong> \u2013 11.30am\u20131pm<br \/>\n(Junior School Music Rooms and Potts Hall). <br \/>\nPlease collect your daughter from the main School gate (Gate 1, Corner Rowley Street and Park Street)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">\u2022<\/span> Sunday 6 April 2025<\/strong> \u2013 9am\u201310.30am (Junior School Music Rooms and Potts Hall)<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">\u2022<\/span> Friday 2 May 2025<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0 During the School day (as part of the Senior School Music Camp from <strong>Friday 2 May \u2013 Sunday 4 May 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Sydney Opera House Concert Day<br \/>\nMonday 19th May 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p1\">Students will attend school as normal until lunchtime.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">After lunch, Angeli students will be taken to the Sydney Opera House by bus for a rehearsal and soundcheck running from 3pm\u20135pm.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Students will have a supervised dinner break and then will prepare to take their places at 6.15pm for the 7pm show.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Please ensure your child brings recess, lunch, and a packed dinner to take with them to the Opera House. Students will not be permitted to purchase dinner in the city.<\/li>\n<li class=\"p1\">Students will be dismissed at the end of the concert and will need to have their name marked off by a staff member.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong>Rehearsal Resources <\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A Canvas webpage has been created with resources to help students practice the Opera House combined pieces at home.
