The girls proudly represented MLC School in their various events, with some students progressing to the CIS championships in May.<\/p>\n<p>Some notable results included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Misha Behi<\/strong> (Year 12)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tahlia Jeffery<\/strong> (Year 12)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ada Savage<\/strong> (Year 9), and<\/li>\n<li><strong>Savannah Robinson<\/strong> (Year 7)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>all qualifying for CIS, with Ada placing 1st\u00a0in the opens platform in the IGSA competition and Tahlia placing 3rd\u00a0in the IGSA competition in the 17+ springboard.<\/p>\n<p>Another amazing achievement was in the teams event with a silver medal win to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Clementine Lonergan<\/strong> (Year 8)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Isabella Ritchie<\/strong> (Year 8), and<\/li>\n<li><strong>Charlie McDonald<\/strong> (Year 9)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>\u2013 Tahlia Jeffery\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(Year 12)<br \/>\nCaptain of Diving<\/p>\n<p>Last Friday, MLC School Swim Team competed in the IGSA Swimming Championships, racing in the highly competitive Division 1. The team put in a strong performance across all events, with numerous swimmers making the finals, and all our relay teams also qualifying for finals \u2013 an incredibly massive feat. A special mention to <strong>Iris Ji<\/strong> (Year 9), who secured an impressive silver in the 50m Breaststroke and bronze in the 50m Butterfly, moving onto CIS, and to <strong>Madison Chandler<\/strong> finishing 4th overall in the 50m Butterfly. At the end, MLC School finished 8th \u2013 an outstanding achievement at this level of competition.<\/p>\n<p>For me, this IGSA marked the end of a journey that started back in Year 2, and it was incredible to see the team\u2019s hard work and dedication come together one last time.
