Parents are welcome to attend the fair before school until recess. Your daughters will have the opportunity to purchase books during the day, however, if you wish to purchase a book for your daughter or make a donation to the School library, you may do so at this time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>9.30am-9.50am<\/strong>\u2013 Book Parade,\u00a0Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6, Sports Field. Thank you for assisting your daughter to dress up for this year\u2019s Book Week Parade. This year\u2019s theme is\u00a0<em>\u2018Reading is Magic\u2019.<\/em>\u00a0Please come to the Sports Field to watch as staff and students show off their favourite book character or \u2018magical\u2019 costumes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>10.55am-3.20pm \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Pre-Kindergarten to Year 5 will attend the Book Fair.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your daughter may purchase books with cash or a debit card.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bookmark Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Design a bookmark using &#8216;Reading is Magic&#8217; or another reading theme. Blank bookmarks are available in the library. Winning entry wins a book voucher and your design will be used as a Junior School bookmark for the rest of 2024 and in 2025! Entries due by <strong>Monday 19 August 2024.<\/strong> Winners announced at the Book Parade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reading Olympics<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are running a Reading Olympics! There will be \u2018events\u2019 to complete and House points to be won. Reading Olympics entries must be verified by a parent signature. All completed entries go into a draw for a book prize.
