What a start we had in the Junior School library this term.<\/p>\n
We considered the theme for Safer Internet Week; Connect, Reflect, Protect in all grades, through story and discussion. Year 5 students were asked to create a google doodle to promote the theme. You will find a design by Ashwini Kanesalingam<\/strong> (Year 5) in the photos below. They were all so creative. Google should have asked our girls to design their Safer Internet Week design this year!<\/p>\n We celebrated Valentine\u2019s Day with book gifts delivered to each class and students writing recommendations for books they wanted to promote.<\/p>\n Next week we welcome author Kate Foster to the Junior School. On Wednesday 1 March 2023<\/strong>, Kate Foster will meet with students in Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5. Kate Foster is author of Paws<\/em> and the Bravest Word<\/em>. Kate is skilled at writing stories with neurodivergent characters and characters dealing with life changes.
