{"id":23840,"date":"2023-02-23T11:01:46","date_gmt":"2023-02-23T00:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/?post_type=article&#038;p=23840"},"modified":"2023-02-24T13:38:23","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T02:38:23","slug":"casual-bus-driver-needed","status":"publish","type":"article","link":"https:\/\/www.thebuzz.net.au\/mlc\/article\/casual-bus-driver-needed\/","title":{"rendered":"Casual Bus Driver Needed"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Casual Bus Driver<br \/>\nStart date: ASAP<br \/>\nApplication Closing Date: Friday 24 February 2023<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nMLC School&#8217;s Mission<br \/>\n<\/strong>MLC School\u2019s mission is to educate and inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion to be agents of change in their own lives and in the lives of others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Primary Purpose of the Position<br \/>\n<\/strong>The position of Bus Driver is responsible for the transporting of students to and from school and sporting venues via our School buses and vehicles.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Accountabilities\u00a0<br \/>\nTransporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide driving services to and be responsible for the welfare and safety of MLC School students and staff to and from MLC School and sporting venues.<\/li>\n<li>Take care of, maintain, clean and ensure any issues or problems with the buses are reported promptly.<\/li>\n<li>Complete any daily vehicle log and all other reports as required.<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with emergency procedures on the bus to ensure the safety of students and staff.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience<br \/>\nMandatory<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Authorised Bus Driver (Transport for NSW)<\/li>\n<li>HR Driver Licence<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience and reliability in bus driving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A sound knowledge of Sydney and surrounding road networks<\/li>\n<li>Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Child Protection Policy<br \/>\n<\/strong>All employees at MLC School must undertake a Working with Children Check prior to appointment.\u00a0All MLC School employees must understand and observe the School\u2019s Child Protection Policy and all associated statements relating to student welfare and wellbeing. You are expected to always conduct yourself in ways that promote the safety, welfare and wellbeing of students, children and young people.
