Year 9 PDHPE
This term, Year 9 PDHPE students are actively engaging in a Touch Football unit of work. As part of their practical assessment, students are developing a wide range of movement skills and tactical understanding through structured lessons and round robin competitions.
Within lessons, students are refining key techniques such as passing and playing the ball as well as attacking strategies and defensive positioning. These skills are being applied in game scenarios, allowing students to build confidence, teamwork, and strategic thinking. Additionally, these experiences encourage the use of interpersonal skills and highlight the importance of collaboration.
As a department we are proud of the enthusiasm and commitment the students have shown, and we look forward to seeing their continued growth both on and off the field.
