Year 8

Welcome back Year 8 families! It has been lovely to see the Year 8 students back at school this term, and as always, they are straight into all of the activities, making me a very proud Head of Year!

Congratulations to Eadie Scott and Chelsea Sumich who are in the MLC School Football Team and competing in the knock-out Bill Turner Cup event. Their team is finding success each game and we are right behind them supporting, just as much as we are while watching the Matildas in the World Cup!

The cast of the Middle Years Production – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – has also been announced and I’m excited to congratulate the following Year 8 students for being cast in the show:

The portal for choosing Year 9 Electives for 2024 opened on Tuesday, with all Year 8 students being sent a link to access this. Please ensure you have reviewed the curriculum guide and reached out to any Heads of Department with any subject questions. All students need to have entered their preferences by Tuesday 25 July 2023.
