Year 7 PDHPE – Flips and Fun!
This term in Year 7 Physical Education, students have been collaborating in groups to choreograph and perform a gymnastics routine. The students have shown creativity and originality in their movements and have demonstrated the fundamental movement skills of springing and landing, rolling and balancing. The students have their own choice of music and have come up with some wonderful themes for their performances, including incorporating the use of the rhythmic gymnastics apparatus such as ribbons, hoops and balls. Year 7 will be performing these routines in the coming weeks and will be reported on in their Semester 2 Personal Development Health and Physical Education (PDHPE) report. The PDHPE teachers can’t wait to see these amazing performances!
