Year 7

Year 7 had their Chapel session this week, which is a really special time to come together as a Year group. Our student volunteers spoke beautifully, and their peers were respectful and kind listeners. Thank you to all the student volunteers, it’s wonderful to see you taking on these roles and showing your leadership.

This week Year 7 also enjoyed supporting Jeans for Genes Day and had a session with their Year 11 Big Sisters. With compassion as the overarching theme of the Year 7 Pastoral Care Program this term, the students engaged in an activity to create a compassion tree, showcasing ways they have been or can be compassionate. The Year 7 students will meet with their Big Sisters again this term and their Luminaries will continue to work with the girls on building vertical connections at school.
