Year 7

Welcome, welcome, welcome! It’s finally here, your daughter is officially a high school student. What a whirlwind of a first week it has been, but a wonderful week at that. I expect your daughters will be pretty tired tonight after being very busy and simply fantastic. I have seen and heard the students at the lockers helping each other out finding classrooms, decoding timetables and popping in to see me if help is needed. I am really looking forward to watching them continue to work together with such positivity.

Please see below a few pieces of important information for Year 7:

The locks given to Year 7 for their lockers are working but are quite sensitive. If your daughter has an issue with her lock, I have asked them to come to me and I can fix them. Sometimes when they open and close them in a hurry, the students are accidentally changing their codes by a single digit, but I am now officially an expert in setting them back up.
Unfortunately, the MLC School subject exercise books have not yet arrived, but they are on their way! In the meantime, students may wish to bring one exercise book for their classwork, that they can transfer to the new exercise books when they arrive.
School photos are being held on Monday 3 February 2025. Year 7 have been asked to wear their summer uniform, but additionally to bring their blazers for the photographs.
