Year 7
Congratulations to the Year 7 students who represented MLC School at IGSA Gymnastics last Friday (Week 3). There were such wonderful achievements from across both the Rhythmic and Artistic teams in this competition, and I do hope you are all proud of your efforts.
I am sure I not alone in my eagerness to attend the Middle Years Production of Wendy and Peter Pan in Week 5 (week starting Wednesday 13 November 2024). Students have been rehearsing for weeks and Alisha Vigna has shared that Year 7 students from both the cast and crew are working wonderfully. Congratulations on your efforts and preparation so far, I cannot wait to see the show on Wednesday night!
Well done to Phoebe Tang and Michaela Kwaan who participated in the Ethics Olympiad today! Students worked alongside a team of students from Year 8 and Year 9 to devise the best possible answer to a series of difficult ethical questions.
Students had their final presentation with Marianna Carlino (Director of eLearning) for their Academic Care program on Wednesday. This final presentation was all about the appropriate organisation and storage of information and notes using OneDrive. Students were guided to use the OneDrive suite to make sure their notes, assessments and tasks from Year 7 can be saved appropriately ahead of their transition to Year 8 content.
