Year 11 PDHPE Complete First Aid Course with Royal Life Saving NSW

This week, Year 11 PDHPE students completed their First Aid training, run by trainers from Royal Life Saving NSW. Students will receive a First Aid and CPR certificate following the course and have gained knowledge to assist with their Preliminary PDHPE Studies in the First Aid unit.

Students enjoyed the hands-on approach to learning throughout the day and were actively involved in all sessions. They successfully learnt and demonstrated first aid approaches for a range of scenarios including CPR, bleeding, bites and stings, and a variety of emergency treatments.
