Year 10
It’s a busy and exciting lead-up to the end of Term 2! This week, Year 10 students participated enthusiastically in the Bright Spark incursion, where they strengthened connections across the year group and reflected on their personal growth as they prepare to step into Senior school. It was wonderful to see them engage so thoughtfully and support one another.
We’re very much looking forward to meeting with you and your daughter on Monday for the subject selection interviews. These sessions will be a valuable opportunity to have in-depth conversations about the best path forward for your daughter’s senior years.
The final week of term is packed with exciting activities:
- Round Square Week (starts Monday 23 June) – celebrating global citizenship and leadership
- Prescott Puppy Pageant (Monday 23 June) – always a crowd favourite!
- Illuminate (Tuesday 24 June) – showcasing our student’s creativity and innovation
- MLC School Colour Run (Friday 27 June) – a joyful and energetic way to wrap up the term on Friday
The following will be in place for any student requiring adjustments to support their participation in the Colour Run.
- A sheltered tent will be available for students needing a quiet, alternate space to take a break. This will be staffed by the Learning Enhancement Department.
- A staff member from the Learning Enhancement Department will be actively visible throughout the event to support monitoring of students.
- Students will also have access to the First Aid Tent if needed
- Students have the option to “opt-out” of running in the colour. If this is the case, students are encouraged to inform their Head of Year and identify an alternate form of participation in the event if at all possible.
We’re excited to end the term on a fun and positive note, celebrating all the hard work and achievements of Year 10.
