Work Experience Well Underway!
It’s fantastic to see so many students embracing the incredible opportunity that Work Experience Week offers. From reaching out to local primary schools to tapping into personal networks, students are showing initiative and enthusiasm in securing meaningful placements.
As we approach the final weeks of term, now is the time to make that final push. If you haven’t yet locked in your placement, please prioritise completing your paperwork and finalising your arrangements. This is a valuable chance to gain real-world experience, build confidence, and explore potential career pathways.
Let’s finish strong, make sure your placement is confirmed, and all documentation is submitted. If you need support, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Careers team.
Due Date:
Student Placement Records (SPRs) are due Term 3 – Friday 5 September 2025. This is when students must have their placement organised and confirmed.
Work experience is a compulsory activity for Year 10 students which is part of MLC School’s Career Education Program.
