Enrolments still open for Theatresports, Acting for Camera and PRIVATE Speech and Drama lessons

The Speech and Drama Studio teaching team are excited to see all of our students and welcome our new students across all programs with lessons commencing Monday 24 July 2023.  We have a busy but exciting term ahead.

ASCA and Trinity exams

Speech and Drama students from Year 3 to Year 12 plus private and duo Kindergarten to Year 2 students are busy preparing for their ASCA or Trinity exam this term. Exam dates are listed below. Your child’s exact exam day/time will be finalised shortly. 

TERM 3 

ASCA EXAMS Year 3 to Year 5

Week 8 – Monday 4 September – Wednesday 6 September 2023 (Not available on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 September due to Book week events).

Week 9 – Monday 11 and Tuesday 12 September 2023.

TERM 4  

ASCA EXAMS Year 6 to Year 11

Week 6 – Monday 13 to Friday 17 November 2023.

TRINITY EXAMS Year 6 to Year 12

Week 7 – Monday 20 to Friday 24 November 2023.

Theatresports Competition at Pymble Ladies College

In September our Theatresports students have the opportunity to represent MLC School in the Theatresports Competition at Pymble Ladies College. This is a new event this year.

Speech and Drama individual lessons

Whilst many of our programs are fully booked, we do have availability for private and duo students for rotational daytime classes or  at an available time after school. Students from Year 3 to Year 12 have the opportunity to participate in ASCA (Australian Speech Communication Association) and Trinity College of London examinations.

Theatresports

  • Tuesdays 3.20pm-4.50pm – places available

Acting for Camera

  • Friday lunchtime -– two places available
  • Friday 3.20pm-4.05pm – one place available

Senior Musical Theatre

  • Wednesday 4.05pm-5.05pm, Year 6 to Year 10 Group session – places available
