Stand Tall Event Lessons for MLC School Girls

The Stand Tall Event was a very inspiring and moving experience that we were grateful to participate in. From the moving speeches to the upbeat performances, 6000 students were able to come together and celebrate each person’s uniqueness. Though their life stories, we learnt how adversities do not define us and that, with a positive mindset, you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.

Michelle Payne inspired us to pursue our passions through persistence and taught us how to challenge stereotypes in male-dominated industries.

Michael Crossland shared his life story in a moving speech about how dedicating your life to service helps you to appreciate the small moments and be grateful for all you have.

Alex Noble taught us that anything is possible if we put our mind to it and have a bit of resilience.

The event has stayed with all of us and we all had a memorable day.
