Speech and Drama Students Shine at Parramatta Eisteddfod

Congratulations to Rachael (Pip) McGuire (Year 5) and Alana Siluk (Year 5) who were awarded 2^nd place in the Duo Prepared Mime category at the Parramatta Eisteddfod. We are so proud of Pip and Alana for their awesome achievement.

‘Last weekend we had the opportunity to participate in the 2021 Parramatta Eisteddfod in a Duo Prepared Mime performance. It was an awesome experience to get up on stage and perform our mime in front of a room full of people and the judges. 

‘At first, we were very nervous while waiting for our number to be called. Competition was fierce. But once we were up on stage we quickly forgot our nerves, the audience, and focused on our characters and the mime. We both ended up having so much fun performing and was proud with what we achieved. We cannot wait to do it again next year!  – Rachael (Pip) McGuire (Year 5) and Alana Siluk (Year 5)
