Round Square Ethics Seminar
On Monday, five Year 7 students and five Year 8 girls travelled to Barker College to attend the Round Square Ethics Seminar. Girls took part in healthy discussion and were posed ethical dilemmas. Thank you to James Adams and Megan Westwood for travelling with the girls.
‘The Round Square Ethics Seminar was a great opportunity to interact and learn how culture shapes your ethical judgements with other Round Square Schools. With Oxley College, Redlands, Newcastle Grammar, and Barker, I really enjoyed working with other people to develop understanding through the dilemmas of culture (how it effects your moral decision), studies shaping these differences and problems such as weighing the impacts. There were many opportunities for presentation, ranging from group projects to discussions. I believe it was a truly valuable experience, that explores cultural diversity and analysing ethics.’
