Mooramoora Book Swap Sparks Joy and Generosity
In a heartwarming display of community spirit and literary love, Mooramoora House recently hosted a successful Book Swap event, raising just over $1,000 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students explored new stories to take home, all while knowing their contributions were making a meaningful difference. Students were encouraged to bring in pre-loved books to swap, with a gold coin donation supporting the Foundation’s mission to improve literacy outcomes for First Nations children in remote communities.
