MLC School Thrift Store Success
Last term during Round Square Week, the Environmental Group ran a thrift store, underpinned by the IDEAL of environmentalism, to promote sustainable fashion cycles.
We raised a total of $1284.55 for the ZOE Foundation which aims to prevent child trafficking and rescue children from slavery. All clothes that were not sold were then donated to the Girl’s Refuge. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the thrift store, and we congratulate Piper Maroney (Year 7) for being the biggest donor.
