Mid Year Music Success

Over the mid-year break, our students have been busy competing in Eisteddfods across the greater Sydney region. Students competing in the ‘Open’ sections are in direct competition with all age groups, including undergraduate and postgraduate music students, making these results all the more impressive.

Juah Hyun (Year 9) – Viola – Sydney Eisteddfod

• Under 15 String Section – Winner – First Place

and – St George Eisteddfod

• Under 15 Violin and Viola Section – Winner 1st Place
• Concerto Section – 2nd Place

Daisy Li  (Year 11) – Violin – Sydney and St George Eisteddfods claimed

• Two 1st Places and
• Two 2nd Places 

Veronica Pan (Year 7) – Clarinet – Sydney Eisteddfod

• The Under 15 Clarinet section – Winner, 1st Place
• The Under 12 Clarinet Section – 2nd Place
