Junior School Art News
Art competitions underpin the MLC Junior School Art experience by inspiring our young artists to display their creative skills and ideas to a wider audience. This year our exceptionally talented girls submitted their artwork into the ‘Seahorse Project’ Art and Science Competition reflecting upon marine scientists’ current work in saving our endangered seahorses and their habitat in Sydney Harbour. Thank you to Head of Junior School Daniel Sandral and Sally Marks (Head of Department – Visual Arts) for engaging in the difficult task in judging, and, Liane Simpson, Junior School art assistant, in selecting the ‘Packing Room Prize’.
