Holiday Production Fun
It has been wonderful to dive back into our Speech and Drama Studio programs this week and see all of our students and welcome our new students. We are so impressed with the enthusiasm and incredible work we have seen already. It’s going to be an exciting term ahead.
A busy start to the term meant we missed acknowledging the stars of our holiday productions last week.
Congratulations to our amazing casts of our December holiday production of Sleeping Beauty and our January production of Alice in Wonderland.
After auditioning and casting roles, the students embarked on a magical journey into the world of theatre. They rehearsed scenes and learnt lots of dances, added costumes, set and lighting bringing it all together for the big performance for family and friends. Our amazing casts performed brilliantly, and the shows were a hit!
The productions are a wonderful opportunity for students to have fun with their friends and meet new ones from all year groups. We see an enormous amount of confidence develop over the production week and for some students it is the first time they have performed on stage in front of an audience.
‘First of all, congratulations for a marvellous production of Snow White and the ‘9’ dwarfs! Us parents were all blown away by how awesome the cast and crew were, and wondered what sort of magic you used to pull this production together in five days! Arielle enjoyed the process immensely and loved every minute of it!’

We look forward to sharing our students’ outstanding ASCA and TRINITY exams results next week.
