Buckle Up Burwood – Seat Belts Save Lives

Junior School administration has received the following advice and invitation. Please note that this is an invitation issued by the local Government and is not an MLC School event or initiative. Information follows:

Inviting families with young children, who live work or study in Burwood Local Government Area (LGA), the opportunity for a free child restraint fitting service.

Bookings are essential

An authorised fitter will:

• Install any new child car seat
• Check if existing seat is securely fitted
• Offer advice on age-appropriate car seats
• Demonstrate how to get the child in and out of the car seat safely

Age appropriate seat belts are mandatory and penalties apply for seat belt violations.
