Formal Wear Donations for Children and Adults of the Brewarrina Mob

Children and Adults of the Brewarrina Mob are in desperate need of formal wear to attend the NAIDOC Ball on Saturday 10 July 2021. Brewarrina is a rural town in North-West NSW above Dubbo and just East of Bourke. There are not many options for them to access formal wear without travelling hundreds of kilometres and that added cost makes it too expensive so many simply do not attend these special events. We are asking for help from our amazing MLC School community.

If you have any formal wear you no longer need or have grown out of, they would love to have them. A box will be left outside the Studies Office for the girls to leave donations, which can be made until the end of Term 2, on Friday 18 June 2021. Donations will be delivered to a collection point in Wollongong on Sunday 20 June 2021.

What can you donate? Formal dresses, tops, skirts, jackets and pants for girls, teens and women of all sizes and ages. Suits, pants, ties, jackets for boys, teens and men of all age and size.

We truly thank you for your support and this means the world to a community in need.
