Concert Rehearsal Days – Monday 12 July and Tuesday 13 July 2021
All Year 6 to Year 12 students in co-curricular music ensembles performing in the Triumph and Tragedy Concert at City Recital Hall on Wednesday 14 July 2021 are required to attend two days of intensive rehearsals at School on Monday 12 July and Tuesday 13 July 2021.
Rehearsals will run from 8.15am to 5pm on Monday and 8.15am to 3.15pm on Tuesday in various locations around the School. Not all students will be required at all times. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be provided by the end of Term 2, but please note the following:
Monday Arrival Times
- 8am Trout Quintet, Greatest Show soloists
- 8.45am Senior Choir, Taiko Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra
- 10.30am Symphonic Wind Band, Stage Band, Symphony Orchestra
Monday Dismissal Times
- 2pm Senior Choir
- 3pm Taiko Ensemble
- 3.15pm Symphony Orchestra
- 4.15pm Chamber Choir
- 5pm Symphonic WInd Band, Vocal Consort
Tuesday
- Students in Senior Choir and Symphonic Wind Band will be able to attend classes for 1AB
- Students in Taiko Ensemble will be able to attend 1A
- Students in Symphony Orchestra will be able to attend 2AB
Students may wear casual clothes on both days. Catering will be provided by the School.
Please note that Monday 12 July 2021 is the last day of the school holidays and Tuesday 13 July 2021 is the first day of Term 3, the students involved will be excused from classes that day.
