Around the Grounds

The Friday Night Water Polo competition, held at MLC School is a fun time of the year which allows us to form new friendships and enjoy a sport many enjoy and love. MLC01 has had a strong and promising season so far, having our first win against Monte in a close and competitive match. Although we faced a tough loss against Ascham, that game has only motivated us more. The team has put our heads together to aim to improve ourselves as a team and have fun over winning. The team has a tough game against PLC Pymble this Friday night. This will be an intense and fast paced game. We’re looking forward to the challenge and are excited to see what our team can bring to the pool!

Basketball

The first two rounds of this season have been quite challenging so far, especially after we moved up a division following last season’s win. Despite the other team having a higher score, we all persevered through the match, helping each other at every opportunity. In each game, we always supported each other, both on the court and on the bench. These games really pushed us out of our comfort zones and brought us closer together as a team. We are absolutely going to continue to give it our all and work as hard as possible to make a stronger comeback this season!
